Giles Corey

Giles Corey brings a live set rooted in the project’s self-titled 2011 album, an intensely atmospheric work that blends intimate singer-songwriter material with ghostly choral textures, organ, field recordings, electronics, and overwhelming walls of sound. Its themes include depression, death, history, and the paranormal, moving between restrained confession and cathartic release.

For the 2026–27 performance, Barrett reworks that tension for the stage with stark vocals, acoustic instruments, unstable electronic sounds, and arrangements that can expand from near-silence into powerful physical impact. Kathryn Mohr, whose minimalist songs and atmospheric recordings explore memory, landscape, and emotional presence, and Val Acton Loper also perform.
