Join the wacky yet good-natured Professor Livingpebble for a science comedy show that balances hilarious hijinks with fun facts and participatory learning. Accompanied by his life-sized pet velociraptor Mary—the world’s only vegan velociraptor—the professor explores how fossils are made, what dinosaurs might have sounded like, and more. This family-friendly performance is presented by David Engel and is sure to inspire, dazzle, and delight dinosaur fans of all ages.

Showtimes: 10:30 AM both days. Gates open at 10:00 AM.
Tickets: $12 per person including fees, with children under 2 admitted free. Group discounts are available for parties of 10 or more; additionally, buying tickets to three or more Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods shows saves $2 off every ticket.

Note: Seating is general admission on wooden benches, so arriving early is recommended for best choice; bring a towel to dry seats after rain. Free parking is available—follow Park Rangers to designated lots, then enjoy a short scenic walk (under half a mile) downhill, across a bridge, and along a wooded trail to the theater; strollers are recommended. Picnics are welcome in the Meadow after the show, but food and beverages other than water are not permitted in the seated area. Sign language interpretation is available upon request with at least one week advance notice (email [email protected]). Accessible parking is available on site; contact the National Park Service at 703.255.1820 for assistance. After the performance, join a Park Ranger for an outdoor activity to earn a Junior Ranger Badge, or explore the Meadow with free games, toys, and kid-friendly activities.
