An Evening with Eric Johanson

Eric Johanson brings his modern blues-rock sound to Jammin Java. The New Orleans-based guitarist and songwriter combines soulful, high-impact guitar playing with sharp, melodic songwriting influenced by rock, blues, and contemporary music.

Johanson broke through with *The Deep and the Dirty*, a No. 1 Billboard Blues album, and followed it with *Live in Mississippi*, his sixth Top 10-charting release. The live album captures the energy of his performances, which have taken him to venues across the United States and Europe. He has been recognized by *Guitar Player* as one of the “25 Best New Blues Guitarists” and by *Total Guitar* among the greatest blues guitarists of all time. His performances are known for gritty, powerful playing, strong vocals and songwriting, and an electric live presence.
