Alcove Gift Shop at Del Ray Artisans (8/7 – 9/26/2026)
The Alcove Gift Shop at Del Ray Artisans presents a rotating selection of handmade art and craft items created by the gallery’s members. Running from August 7 through September 26, 2026, this installment of the ongoing gift shop features refreshed inventory, with new pieces appearing weekly and the full display overhauled every two months. The shop occupies the alcove inside the Del Ray Artisans gallery at the Colasanto Center, and all proceeds support local artists. The gallery itself is free and open to the public, making it easy to browse the gift shop alongside the main exhibitions.
When: Saturday, August 7 through Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Showtimes: The gallery, and therefore the Alcove Gift Shop, is open Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (The gallery is closed on the last Sunday of each month.)
Tickets: Admission to the gallery and gift shop is free; no ticket is required. Items in the gift shop are available for purchase at individual prices set by the artists.
Lineup: All work is by current members of Del Ray Artisans. The selection includes unframed two-dimensional pieces available in bins, as well as jewelry, fiber art, woodcraft, ceramics, and other small three-dimensional items.
Run time: The gift shop’s current display runs for approximately seven weeks, from August 7 through September 26, 2026. Inventory is refreshed weekly and fully replaced every two months.
Ages: All ages are welcome; the gallery and gift shop are family-friendly.
