The Tubs

The Tubs are a London-based indie rock band whose Celtic-tinged jangle sound combines virtuosic guitar work, literary lyrics, and emotionally worn but exhilarating performances. The group is touring in support of its third full-length album, *Hard Life*, which Merge Records is scheduled to release on September 11, 2026. Their lineup expands the core band’s shimmering rock sound with frequent collaborators and fiddle from session musician Chris Haigh.

The bill also features Slippers, the Los Angeles project led by Madeline BB. Slippers’ pop-focused music draws on classic songwriting, animation-inspired sensibilities, and BB’s background as a drummer with Le Pain and former member of Yucky Duster. Her latest record, *Do You Like Slippers?*, contains 11 songs and was recorded at 33 RPM.
