50 Forward Celebration

The Washington Ballet’s 50 Forward Celebration marks the company’s 50th anniversary with an evening honoring its artists, audiences, supporters, and place in the nation’s capital. Guests can raise a glass with company dancers, Washington community leaders, cultural figures, and fellow supporters while looking ahead to the company’s future.

Hosted in the historic National Union Building, the celebration includes cocktails, music from DC Go-Go band Black Alley, interactive galleries tracing The Washington Ballet’s first 50 years, and an exclusive speakeasy after-party. Guests are invited to reconnect, dance, and continue the festivities throughout the evening.
