Night Train 357 w/ Dumi Right, Marc 2Ray

Night Train 357, pronounced “three-five-seven,” headlines an evening of hip-hop with Dumi Right and Marc 2Ray at Songbyrd Music House. His music centers on intricate wordplay, replay-worthy metaphors, pop-culture references, socially conscious and personal themes, and a touch of nerd rap.

Dumi Right is a DMV-based emcee, songwriter, and performance artist whose career spans hip-hop’s early era through today. He has performed throughout the United States and internationally, including in Thailand, France, Japan, and Zimbabwe, and has released acclaimed work with artists such as Chuck D, Chubb Rock, Arrested Development, and the Jungle Brothers.

Marc 2Ray is a hip-hop artist and educator whose music focuses on empowerment. His song “1915,” inspired by his Armenian heritage, has been used in high school and college curricula. He also works with children with additional needs through play-based Greenspan Floortime Therapy and serves as Advocacy Director for Calm Bomb Collective, a nonprofit supporting neurodivergent artists and individuals.
