Can I Get a Yes And Improv Jam

“Can I Get a Yes And” is an improv comedy jam in the DC Improv lounge, welcoming improvisers who want stage time, practice, and the chance to perform with other players. The evening includes short-form and mid-form games, with individual performers matched into groups, plus a team segment for pre-existing groups.

The jam is hosted by MC Slimm Slappy, also known as Giovanni Diviacchi, a longtime member of Washington’s improv scene who also performs at DC Improv’s Make Up Party events.

When: Thursday, September 3, 2026

Showtime: 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: $7.50 all-in, including service charges

Lineup: MC Slimm Slappy (host)

Format: Individual players are matched with other performers at the event for a selection of short-form and mid-form improv games. A separate team portion features pre-existing teams of two to five players.

For Performers: Improvisers who want to participate must purchase an “Improviser (I want to play!)” ticket.

Team Registration: Teams should notify DC Improv in advance, no later than five days before the show date.
