Ties of our common kindred

Opening on February 12, 2026 in the Gallery at Glenstone Museum, *Ties of our common kindred* is a major exhibition timed to the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Drawing exclusively from Glenstone's collection, the presentation surveys some of the most significant achievements in American art over the past century. The exhibition brings together iconic works by dozens of celebrated artists—including Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Ruth Asawa, Kerry James Marshall, Cindy Sherman, and Andy Warhol—alongside many others whose styles and voices continue to influence generations of contemporary artists.
