RAWHONEY

RAWHONEY brings a genre-blending sound to Jammin Java, combining the broad melodies of pop-rock and indie pop with the force of pop-punk, metalcore, and hyperpop. The Nashville-based duo formed in 2023 and is known for polished, high-energy songs, poetic lyrics, and an immersive approach to performance.

The bill also features Nashville hard-rock songwriter and bassist Kevin Bull Jr. and Nashville post-punk band Sweet Fruits. Sweet Fruits blends electronic textures with post-rock instrumentation and a complementary visual aesthetic, while Bull draws on his classical upright-bass background and influences including Stone Temple Pilots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Rage Against the Machine. His forthcoming second album, *Starting Over*, is planned for release in early 2027.

RAWHONEY: The duo’s releases include the 2024 debut EP *how could life be pretty without you?* and the critically recognized 2025 EP *insane from exposure.* RAWHONEY also won Belmont University’s 2025 Best of the Best Showcase.

Kevin Bull Jr.: Bull is a Virginia-born, Nashville-based hard-rock frontman, bass player, and songwriter. His songs address the contemporary political climate, including “Here to Stay,” which advocates unity and solidarity for threatened communities, and “Freaking Out,” which reflects anxiety about the state of the world.
