Terence Blanchard & Ravi Coltrane

Terence Blanchard and Ravi Coltrane come together for a centennial celebration of Miles Davis and John Coltrane, whose groundbreaking work helped shape modern jazz. The 2026 performance marks 100 years since the births of both artists.

Rather than recreating the past, the concert reinterprets Davis and Coltrane’s legacy through the musicians’ personal connections to their music. Coltrane, the son of John Coltrane, and Blanchard, a major contemporary trumpeter influenced by Miles Davis, lead an ensemble focused on creativity, freedom, improvisation, and the continuing evolution of jazz.
