Emilio Solla & Bien Sur! - Argentinean Jazz Series
Emilio Solla leads Bien Sur!, his New York-based quartet, in an intimate performance that brings together Argentine musical roots, jazz improvisation, tango rhythms, South American folk traditions, and the sophistication of chamber music. Centered on Solla’s piano and compositions, the group balances intricate musical structures with improvisational freedom while adapting the expansive character of his large-ensemble work to an elegant small-group setting.
The performance features Latin GRAMMY winner and six-time GRAMMY nominee Emilio Solla, whose work includes the Latin GRAMMY-winning album *Puertos: Music from International Waters*. He has performed internationally with artists and ensembles including Paquito D’Rivera, Billy Hart, Arturo O’Farrill, Edmar Castañeda, Cristina Pato, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the WDR Big Band. The event is co-presented with the Embassy of Argentina.
