KLECKSOGRAPHY is a limited-run event returning to Rorschach Theatre in August 2026, bringing together 30 emerging theatre artists from the DMV area for an intensive week of creation. Participants are divided into play‑creation teams of directors, playwrights, and actors, who write, revise, stage, and rehearse new short plays—all inspired by a single piece of visual art. The program, named after the ink‑blot test that also inspired the theatre’s name, is designed to minimize barriers for underrepresented artists and to give early‑career artists visibility, connections, and a foothold in the local theatre community.
