International Folk Dancing

International Folk Dancing is a weekly evening of international folk dance led by the Glen Echo Folk Dancers. The program begins with progressive instruction for beginning, intermediate, and advanced dancers, followed by open dancing in which participants can request dances. The session is offered both in person at Glen Echo Park and online through Zoom.

The October 14, 2026 session takes place at Glen Echo Park, with the option to participate remotely for out-of-town dancers or anyone unable to attend in person.

When: Wednesday, October 14, 2026

Showtimes: Instruction runs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., followed by open request dancing from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m.

Tickets: $10 admission

Health Note: Vaccination and full boosting are strongly encouraged but not required. Anyone experiencing symptoms or who has recently been in close contact with someone who has tested positive or may be positive is asked to attend via Zoom for the following week or two. Participants who test positive after attending should notify the organizers so other attendees can be informed without their identity being disclosed.
