Join Meki’s Tamure Arts Group for an exciting, family-friendly drum and dance showcase that transports audiences into Polynesian island life. Equal parts entertaining and educational, this interactive cultural tour of the Polynesian triangle includes indigenous music and storytelling from Tahiti, Hawaii, New Zealand, and more. You will learn Polynesian geography facts, greetings, and basic dance concepts along the way.

When: July 8, 2026.
Showtimes: 10:30 AM. Gates open at 10 AM.
Venue: Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods, 1551 Trap Road, Vienna, VA 22182.
Price: $12 (including fees); free for children under 2.
Suggested Ages: 4–12.
Groups Save: Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more; inquire to learn more.
Pick 3 and Save: Buy tickets to 3 or more Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods shows and get $2 off every ticket.
Seating: General admission, first come, first served, on wooden benches. Bring a towel to dry off your seat after a rainy evening.
Accessibility: Sign language interpretation is available upon request with at least one week advance notice (email [email protected]). Parking: Free parking; park rangers will direct you. After parking, enjoy a short, scenic walk less than half a mile down the hill, across a bridge, and along a wooded trail. A stroller is recommended for the walk.
Picnic: You may bring a picnic to enjoy in the Meadow after the show. Concessions and Ovations are not open during Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods performances. Food and beverages other than water are not allowed in the seated area.
Ranger Programs: After the show, join a Park Ranger on an outdoor adventure and earn a Junior Ranger Badge.
Stay & Play: After the show, explore the trails and play in the Meadow with free games, toys, and kid-friendly activities.
