Dominique Bianco Featuring Right Chipper
Dominique Bianco and Right Chipper bring together two contrasting but complementary musical approaches: Bianco’s jazz-influenced singer-songwriter style and Right Chipper’s modern jazz-rock fusion. The performance features original music by both artists, with collaborative, improvisational sets emphasizing strong songwriting, intricate musicianship, and a genre-blending contemporary sound.
Dominique Bianco is recognized for her powerful vocals, emotionally driven songwriting, and improvisational ability, with comparisons to Ella Fitzgerald and Yebba. Her distinctions include runner-up in the 2023 Billie Holiday Vocal Competition, a Top 3 finish in the 2022 International Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition, the 2023 Best Jazz Artist Wammie Award, a Strathmore Artist in Residence placement, and finalist status in the 2025 New Song Music Songwriting competition. She has performed at the Kennedy Center, The Cutting Room, Gramercy Theatre, Blues Alley, Keystone Korner, DC9, and Songbyrd.
Right Chipper has performed throughout the Washington, DC music scene and beyond. The group includes Knox Engler of North Carolina, Lucas Kirby of Miami, Florida, and Dominique Bianco of New York City, highlighting the breadth of the East Coast live-music community.
