Storytime Station: "L" is for Librarian

Storytime Station: “L” is for Librarian invites children to enjoy a lively storytime centered on libraries and librarians. The program includes reading, singing, dancing, and a special take-home activity.

Gaithersburg Librarian Erika Walston is the featured guest reader, sharing stories about libraries. Storytime takes place at History Park beside the museum or inside the museum depending on the season; the location may change because of inclement weather.

When: Tuesday, September 22, 2026

Showtime: 11:00 a.m.

Activities: Children can listen to stories, sing, dance, and take home a themed activity.

Parking: Free parking is available in front of and behind the museum on Wells Avenue. The City of Gaithersburg parking garage also offers free parking.
