Make+Take: Make Deeper Impressions

Make+Take: Make Deeper Impressions is a beginner-friendly letterpress workshop at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. Participants will learn to operate a Vandercook press, explore basic typesetting, and create text impressions on paper through blind embossing, producing samples without using ink. No prior experience or homework is required.

The workshop is led by Jim Modrick, a Pyramid Atlantic ArtGym member who has worked in the letterpress studio for more than four years. The class emphasizes experimentation and hands-on discovery in a playful setting.
