Sketch Night

Sketch Night brings a high-energy sketch comedy showcase to the DC Improv’s lounge showroom, hosted by the veteran DC troupe Bad Medicine. The night features a mix of local and national acts, including a three-person sketch group from Columbus, Ohio; an NYC clown and comedian; and a rising DC ensemble that has performed at festivals worldwide. The show is presented in two evening sets in the club’s more intimate space.

Performer Details: Spoucho is a three-person sketch group from Columbus, Ohio, known for blending sharp wit with silly characters. Andy Needham is an NYC comedian and choreographer who rose to prominence in the international clown scene, performing at Lincoln Center, Barclays Center, and Edinburgh Fringe 2025, and touring with Zach Zucker’s Stamptown. Rails Comedy is a DC-based ensemble founded in 2021, focused on ensemble comedy and co-founder of DC Sketchfest; they have been featured at San Francisco Sketchfest, Montréal Sketchfest, and New York City Sketchfest. Bad Medicine is a DC sketch troupe that performs a high-energy, dark, absurd show and has appeared at Toronto Sketchfest, SF Sketchfest, and Philly Sketchfest, and also teaches sketch comedy.
