“Through the Eye of the Needle #4” Reception
“Through the Eye of the Needle #4” is a reception celebrating the Cotting Quilters’ fourth group exhibition at Reston Community Center’s Jo Ann Rose Gallery. The exhibit brings together traditional and contemporary quiltmaking, including full-sized quilts, art quilts, wall hangings, table runners, and other fabric artworks.
The Cotting Quilters are active Reston and Herndon quilters who work in both traditional and modern designs. The group also takes part in community-service projects and values the social connections developed through quilting. The participating artists are Connie Wright-Zinc, Ruth Grubb, Dora Anderson, Fredericka Lake, Larry Lake, Megan Pitluck-Schmitt, Nicky Moering, Hannah Hamilton, and Su King.

Exhibit: The show includes full-sized quilts, art quilts, wall hangings, table runners, and other fabric art created without rigid stylistic rules.
