PHIL VASSAR (Acoustic)

Phil Vassar brings his acoustic show to the Birchmere with Talbot Mayo. Vassar’s musical style draws on the gospel and bluegrass traditions of his Lynchburg upbringing, as well as Motown, West Coast harmonies, rock, and pop. His influences include Bruce Hornsby, the Statler Brothers, Billy Joel, Elton John, Lionel Richie, Queen, Boston, and David Bowie.
