Seeing in B&W
Seeing in B&W is a juried photography exhibition presented by Photoworks at Glen Echo Park, on view from June 6 through July 12, 2026. The show explores the art of black and white photography, illustrating the purity of vision and composition where color is completely unnecessary. Juried by photographer and longtime Photoworks instructor Richard Batch, the exhibition brings together a group of local photographers whose work has been recognized by a national photography magazine. Featured artists include Craig Nedrow, Michael Goulding, Leslie Landerkin, Christine Franklin, Vincent Smith, Sherry Gray, Frank Aquino, Tom Sliter, Alan Simmons, Carl de Moor, Prescott Lassman, William Dusterwald, and Richard Batch himself. An opening reception and gallery talk will be held on Saturday, June 6, from 4 to 6 PM, offering visitors an opportunity to meet participating artists and hear insights about the work on view.
