Anne Stine: What the Small Things Know

Anne Stine: *What the Small Things Know* is an exhibition of encaustic mixed-media paintings examining how nature adapts and survives through community. Anne Stine looks beneath our feet and beneath the water’s surface to explore tiny ecosystems, emphasizing their resilience, reciprocity, and sense of belonging.

The collection invites viewers to slow down and observe these intimate micro-landscapes. Through small organisms and hidden natural worlds, the paintings consider the quiet intelligence of nature and what these ecosystems can teach us about living in relationship with one another.
