Take The Reins: Chamber Orchestra Concert | NOI Philharmonic
The NOI Philharmonic takes charge of its own performance in the annual Take the Reins concert, a conductorless chamber orchestra event that showcases the unfiltered musical interpretations of the 2026 NOI+F Orchestral Fellows. The program includes the world premiere of Viet Cuong's *Time and Time Again* (an NOI+F co-commission), Haydn's Symphony No. 70 in D Major, and Richard Strauss's Divertimento for Chamber Orchestra After Keyboard Pieces by Couperin, a neoclassical work based on the baroque harpsichord pieces of François Couperin. A pre-concert conversation with Viet Cuong at 6:30PM in the NOI+F SPARK! Lounge offers deeper insight into the new composition.
