Vincent Ingala brings his electrifying urban contemporary jazz to The Birchmere, a show declared by Jazziz Magazine as “one of the most exciting artists to emerge this past decade.” A saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, Ingala has amassed nine #1 Billboard hits and twenty-two Top 10 singles, most recently from his eighth studio album *Escape With Me* on Shanachie Entertainment. At 17 he burst onto the scene with *North End Soul*, and after being named Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year in 2012, he earned that accolade again in 2023 on the strength of “Ridin’ the Wave” and “Shadow Dancer,” the latter spending three weeks at #1 on the Smooth Jazz Airplay chart. His live show is known for blending energetic grooves with soulful, old-school retro vibes, as he fronts his band on sax, guitar, drums, and vocals, bridging his father’s R&B, funk, and soul influences with his own crisp horn-drenched melodies.
