Jazz Funk Soul, a powerhouse contemporary jazz, funk, and soul ensemble, brings its celebrated fusion sound to The Birchmere Music Hall on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The group was originally formed in 2014 as a touring package by GRAMMY‑nominated guitarist Chuck Loeb, GRAMMY‑nominated saxophonist Everette Harp, and GRAMMY‑winning keyboardist Jeff Lorber. Signed immediately by Shanachie Records, the trio released their first album, “Serious Business,” which earned a GRAMMY nomination. After Loeb’s untimely passing in 2017, GRAMMY‑nominated session guitar legend Paul Jackson Jr. joined Harp and Lorber to continue the group’s vision. Their latest Shanachie release, “Simpatico,” is their fifth album and showcases the trio’s commitment to infectious grooves, memorable melodies, and boundary‑pushing contemporary jazz. The evening features all three artists performing together on one stage.
