Docent-Led Clubhouse Tour

The Docent-Led Clubhouse Tour offers a guided exploration of the Arts Club of Washington’s historic home at 2017 I Street NW. The tour covers the club’s founding and activities, its distinguished male and female members, and the notable residents of the two mansions now occupied by the club, including President James Monroe, First Lady Elizabeth, and Civil War General Robert MacFeely.

Because the tour visits small spaces, participation is limited to 12 people. An RSVP is required to guarantee a place, although walk-ins may be accommodated when possible.
