EMMA NISSEN

Emma Nissen brings her jazz-pop sound and “Jesus and Jazz” style to the Birchmere. The 25-year-old singer gained widespread attention after a video of her scatting on her Christian song “Breathe” went viral in late 2023. Her videos have since surpassed 200 million views, growing her Instagram audience from fewer than 10,000 followers to more than 850,000.

Her live performances and growing fan base have led to sold-out shows across North America and Europe. Emma has drawn recognition from Lauren Daigle, SZA, Meghan Trainor, Queen Latifah, and Adam Blackstone, who invited her to perform with his band at New York City’s Blue Note. Blackstone produced her chart-topping single “Love Like You,” the title track of an album also produced by Seth Mosley, Nate Pyfer, and Stephen Nelson. Emma’s new album, *Moved*, is scheduled for release in June 2026 and is supported by an extensive tour.
