Agustin Grasso - Recording Release - Argentinian Jazz Series

Agustin Grasso celebrates the release of a new recording in this presentation of Blues Alley’s Argentinian Jazz Series. The Brooklyn-based drummer, originally from Buenos Aires, began playing drums at 15 and later studied at Buenos Aires’ Escuela de Música Contemporánea, part of the Berklee International Network. After moving to the United States in 2013, he pursued opportunities to study and perform with jazz musicians while becoming part of New York City’s music scene.

Grasso has appeared at Carnegie Hall, the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, The Bitter End, Cellar Dog, Ornithology Jazz Club, Café Ornithology, the Airtrain Jazz Festival, Harlem Arts Festival, Showman’s, Cleopatra’s Needle, and other venues throughout the New York tristate area. The event is co-presented with the Embassy of Argentina.

Recording policy: Photography and recording of any kind are prohibited during the performance.

Audience etiquette: Guests are asked to keep conversation to a minimum during the performance.
