Black Masala & The Last Rewind
Black Masala and The Last Rewind join forces for a high-energy evening of eclectic live music at Pearl Street. The Last Rewind, the DMV’s premier Phish tribute, performs music from Phish’s extensive catalog as well as songs covered by Phish, pairing close attention to the original material with adventurous improvisation.
Black Masala brings a vibrant blend of Balkan brass, funk, rock, punk, Eastern European folk, and New Orleans jazz. Their lively performances feature saxophones, trombones, sousaphones, infectious rhythms, and a dance-oriented spirit designed to bring audiences together.
