Indigo Girls

Indigo Girls bring their seated concert to The Anthem, with Grammy-winning folk duo Emily Saliers and Amy Ray performing alongside Linda Perry. The duo’s music is known for its close harmonies, thoughtful songwriting, and communal audience singalongs.

The concert celebrates Indigo Girls’ more than 35-year career, which began in Atlanta clubs and includes 16 studio albums, more than 15 million records sold, and multiple gold- and platinum-certified releases. Their major-label debut, released in 1989, featured “Closer to Fine” and “Kid Fears” and sold more than two million copies.

The performance also draws from *Look Long*, the duo’s 16th studio album. Produced by John Reynolds and recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios near Bath, England, the album explores the pair’s personal histories, upbringing, creative partnership, and evolving perspective. Its songs include “When We Were Writers,” about the duo’s early days performing together, and “Shit Kickin’,” which reflects on Amy Ray’s Southern heritage.
