Mason Opera presents: Spring 2027 Opera
Mason Opera, from the Dewberry School of Music at George Mason University, presents its Spring 2027 production, a fully staged opera brought to life by the program’s student vocalists. Accompanied by a chamber ensemble of instrumentalists, the singers aim to display both vocal mastery and dramatic presence, drawing audiences deep into the story through live, in-person performances. The production runs for four performances over a single weekend in April, with the final matinee offered with American Sign Language interpretation.
When: April 16 through April 18, 2027, at the Harris Theatre on George Mason University’s Fairfax Campus.
Showtimes: Friday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m.
Venue: Harris Theatre, George Mason University Center for the Arts, Fairfax Campus.
Tickets: $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $10 for youth, with all prices including fees.
