chitra.MOVES Movement Classes

chitra.MOVES Movement Classes are beginner-friendly community classes welcoming adults of all experience levels. Drawing from Indian Classical dance, Hip Hop, and contemporary movement, the sessions combine varied styles and give participants room to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace.

Classes meet on Thursday mornings at the Atlas Performing Arts Center throughout the September–October 2026 series.

When: September 17 through October 22, 2026

Showtimes: Thursdays at 9:30 a.m., with each class running until 10:30 a.m. Sessions are scheduled for September 17 and 24; October 1, 8, 15, and 22.

Ages: Adults ages 18 and older

Experience Level: Open to all levels and suitable for beginners

Movement Styles: Indian Classical dance, Hip Hop, and contemporary movement
