Mareux

Mareux is the long-running electronic solo project of Los Angeles musician and producer Aryan Ashtiani. Drawing on darkwave, synth-pop, coldwave, and post-punk, his romantic and melancholic music combines heavy icy beats, shimmering synthesizers, droning textures, forceful bass, and an emotive vocal style with goth and 1980s influences. Songs such as “The Perfect Girl” have helped Mareux build an international cult following across multiple subcultures.
