Art-Play-Practice Open Play Hours

On Friday, July 24, 2026, Phillips@THEARC hosts a special open-play edition of Art-Play-Practice, an immersive, self-guided gallery experience designed for families and children. This drop-in session invites visitors to explore an interactive play space inspired by the vibrant, draped abstractions of Sam Gilliam’s iconic work *Broad Cape*. In addition to the hands-on art environment, each attendee can receive a complimentary art supply giveaway bag and a free take-home art kit (both available while supplies last) to extend creativity beyond the gallery. The event runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and is free of charge, with no advance registration required.
