Garden Tots | Winter's on the Way

Garden Tots | Winter's on the Way is a seasonal, hands-on program at Hillwood Estate designed for young children ages two to five and their accompanying adults. During this winter-themed session, participants bundle up to explore the gardens in search of signs of the season—looking for acorns, pinecones, and critters preparing for winter—and then create a nature-inspired wreath to take home. The experience emphasizes imaginative play, make-believe, and hands-on art-making, all within a small-group setting.

When: Friday, November 13, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Tickets: Tickets are not yet available; pricing is set at $12 per child (ages 2–5) with one accompanying adult, and $10 per member child with an accompanying adult. Membership discounts apply for Hillwood members.

Ages: Recommended for children ages two to five; each child must be accompanied by an adult.

Venue: Hillwood Estate, Museum and Garden.

Note: Each session is limited to fifteen children, and a minimum of four children must be enrolled for the program to take place. This class is part of a series of Garden Tots programs held on select Fridays from March through June and September through November, but this write-up is specifically for the November 13 "Winter’s on the Way" session.
