The Mason Symphony Orchestra presents a concert that both showcases the winners of the university's annual concerto competition and performs a major symphonic work. The centerpiece of the evening is Brahms's Symphony No. 2, a piece renowned for its warmth, lyricism, and pastoral character, offering a blend of serene passages and triumphant climaxes. The winners of the Mason Concerto Competition—some of the university's most accomplished student musicians—will also perform, highlighting the depth of talent within the George Mason community. The concert is presented by the George Mason Dewberry School of Music.

When: Monday, March 1, 2027 at 7:30 p.m.

Showtimes: 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for youth. All prices include fees.

Lineup: Mason Symphony Orchestra performing Brahms's Symphony No. 2, along with performances by the winners of the annual Mason Concerto Competition.
