Slow Magic brings the Float era and newer electronic-pop material to Union Stage, joined by Portyl and NO SIR E. The project’s music balances opposing moods—darkness and light, intensity and tenderness, euphoria and introspection—across an expansive, genre-spanning electronic sound.

Float was developed over two years following Slow Magic’s tour for How to Run Away, with creative influences from trips to Iceland and Japan. The album marked the producer’s first use of live drums and introduced guest vocalists including MNDR, Kate Boy, Tropics, and Peter Silberman of The Antlers. Slow Magic has since released the fifth studio album forgotten feels and has announced plans for a sixth album, emotion engine, targeted for summer 2026.
