American Ballet Theatre Studio Company
American Ballet Theatre Studio Company brings together emerging ballet dancers ages 16 to 21 from around the world. As American Ballet Theatre’s junior company, it prepares young artists for careers with ABT and other leading companies; nearly 85% of today’s American Ballet Theatre dancers are ABT Studio Company alumni, including many principals and soloists.
The performance combines excerpts from the classical and neoclassical repertory with contemporary works commissioned from current choreographers. The company is also known for touring extensively as an ambassador for American Ballet Theatre, performing in theaters, universities, festivals, and galas across the United States and internationally.
