Knox brings his emo, pop-punk, and alternative sound to 9:30 Club in support of his second full-length album, *My Midwest Best* on Atlantic Records. The Dayton-area native draws on the early-2000s music that shaped him, combining Warped Tour-style energy with nostalgic, emotionally direct songwriting. Emi Grace is also on the bill.

The album reflects Knox’s return to his Midwest roots, where he first discovered music and began dreaming of a career as an artist. Its 12 tracks explore heartbreak, growing up, romantic uncertainty, and the feeling of reconnecting with home. Featured songs include “After The Afterparty,” “4.3 Forty,” “Better Than Me,” and “Sad Song,” with Knox encouraging audiences to sing, scream, and connect with the material in concert.

Music: Knox’s performance supports *My Midwest Best*, his second full-length album. The record follows his 2025 debut, *Going, Going, Gone*, and includes the songs “After The Afterparty,” “4.3 Forty,” “Better Than Me,” and “Sad Song.”

Background: Knox grew up in New Carlisle, near Dayton, Ohio, and was influenced by Fall Out Boy, All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, Panic! At The Disco, and Hawthorne Heights. After moving to Nashville in 2019 and working as a songwriter, he launched his solo career in 2022 with “Sneakers,” which surpassed 49 million Spotify streams. His song “Not The 1975” reached the Top 15 of the Adult Pop Airplay Chart and passed 63 million streams. He has since sold out shows, appeared at Lollapalooza and Hangout Fest, collaborated with Bilmuri and HARDY, and received support from Ed Sheeran and Matt Healy.

Album: At the beginning of 2026, Knox reunited with collaborators Todd Tran and Cam Becker to create a record inspired by his formative pop-punk and emo influences. The album’s themes include nostalgia, heartbreak, self-discovery, and the experience of returning to the place where his musical ambitions began.
