Wolf's Every Monday Blues Show & Sit-In Jam
Wolf’s Every Monday Blues Show & Sit-In Jam brings a rotating group of top DC blues musicians to Hank Dietle’s Tavern for an opening performance followed by an open jam. It is a chance to hear local blues talent, with occasional out-of-town and touring musicians also joining the musicians onstage.
The evening begins with the host band’s featured show set. Afterward, musicians who have signed up are invited to sit in with the band, generally one or two at a time, for the remainder of the night. Past notable guests have included Guitar Shorty, Bill Kirchen, Eugene Hideaway Bridges, Jimmy Carpenter, Memphis Gold, Bruce Ewan, Bobby Radcliff, Pierre Beauregard, Johnny Sansome, Johnny Vidacovich, and Grammy nominees Tab Benoit and Steve Riley.

Showtimes: The event runs from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The host band opens the night, followed by the sit-in jam.
Tickets: Free admission; no cover charge.
Special: Happy hour runs from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Host lineup: The weekly rotating frontmen include Linwood Taylor, an international touring guitarist and vocalist; Matt Kelley, an Albert King Award-winning guitarist and vocalist; Mike Westcott, a multi-award-winning guitarist and four-time International Blues Competition finalist; and Guy Bouchie, lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for GXB.
Backing band: Andy Hamburger plays drums, and Wolf Crescenze plays bass.
Jam format: After the opening set, musicians who have signed up are invited to perform with the host band, usually one or two at a time. Special guests may occasionally join the band.
