Fall Frolic is Glen Echo Park’s arts-focused Halloween celebration, featuring family-friendly seasonal activities with more emphasis on creativity and costumes than scares. Visitors can make Halloween crafts, take part in a fall-themed photo opportunity, trick-or-treat at resident artists’ studios and galleries, and enter a costume contest with awards for categories including Most Spooky, Most Creative, and Best Group.

The celebration also includes Halloween music performed by students in the Washington Conservatory of Music’s Suzuki Program and by the Washington Conservatory Orchestra. Additional programming in the park includes a Washington Conservatory of Music open house, a free Music and Movement class, and performances by Adventure Theatre MTC and the Puppet Co.

Showtimes: 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Tickets: Free admission. RSVP is preferred but not required through Eventbrite.

Activities: Halloween arts and crafts, a fall photo opportunity, trick-or-treating at resident art studios and galleries, and a costume contest.

Music: Halloween music by Washington Conservatory of Music Suzuki Program students and the Washington Conservatory Orchestra.

Additional programming: The Washington Conservatory of Music will hold an open house from 1:00–4:00 p.m., including a free family-friendly Music and Movement class from 3:00–3:30 p.m. in the WCM Recital Room. Adventure Theatre MTC presents *Beatrice Likes the Dark* at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., while the Puppet Co. presents *Jennie the Cat: A Halloween Adventure* at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
