Keith Grimes and Dean Dalton bring together soulful guitar, deep-pocket bass, and roots-oriented grooves for an evening grounded in blues, jazz, soul, and classic American music. The performance showcases two veteran musicians with deep ties to the Washington, D.C., and Maryland music scenes.

Grimes is known for his five-year tenure as lead guitarist with the Eva Cassidy Band and has also performed with Chuck Brown, Bill Kirchen, The Nighthawks, and other prominent regional artists. Dalton has anchored local jazz and blues projects with Anthony “Swamp Dog” Clark, Linwood Taylor, Bad Influence, Liz Springer, Elliott Levine, Tom Kitchen, and Karl Stoll & The Danger Zone. His Motown, soul-jazz, R&B, and rock influences complement Grimes’s expressive guitar playing.
