Raul Midón

Raul Midón, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and guitarist, performs at the Mansion at Strathmore in a solo showcase of soulful vocals, virtuosic guitar, and influences drawn from jazz, Latin music, and contemporary soul. Blind since birth, Midón is known for creating an expansive, orchestral sound with his guitar and voice.

The concert highlights music from his 2024 album *Lost & Found*, his 13th major release, as well as selections from his broader career. The program also celebrates the 20th anniversary of *State of Mind*, the breakthrough album Elton John called a “soul classic.” Midón’s career has included collaborations with artists such as Shakira, Spike Lee, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, and Roberta Flack.
