FAUX REAL

FAUX REAL is the Franco-American art-pop project of brothers Elliott and Virgile Arndt. Their high-energy performances combine pop hooks with matching costumes, synchronized dance routines, crowd-splitting high kicks, and an intentionally strange tension between polished spectacle and chaotic DIY intensity. The duo’s sound and presentation have been described as something like Iggy Pop colliding with a Eurodance boy band, while their work plays with the uncertainty between what is genuine and what is performative.

The bill also features Babe America, the stage name of singer-songwriter and actress Ava Morse, and Los Angeles artist Bryce Xavier. Morse, who voiced Miriam Mendelsohn in Pixar’s *Turning Red*, brings songs about desire, delusion, devotion, and the pursuit of validation. Xavier is a queer pop-synth artist and digital creator whose music includes the 2020 single “Bus Ride Away,” a Spotify New Music Friday selection. His songs were co-written and produced with Linkin Park’s Brad Delson and producer Danny Byrne.
