People's House Pres. Discostan

People’s House returns to Transmission with Discostan, a high-energy dance night traveling across decades and regions of club music. The sound moves from disco and funk to Dabke, house, Arabic house, garage, and bass-driven selections, linking regional classics, underground discoveries, and newer dance-floor sounds.

Los Angeles producer, film composer, and DJ Omid Walizadeh joins the lineup. His sets draw on archival Iranian music, 1970s Persian funk, and 1980s Tehrangeles pop, blending them with contemporary hip-hop and club production.
