Screening - The Movie

This DMV premiere presents *The Movie*, the debut experimental documentary by Montgomery County natives Lincoln He and Sabrina Li. Filmed over the course of a year at the abandoned Lakeforest Mall, the film follows its protagonists through cycles of belief, doubt, intention, and disbelief. Using the same shared footage, He and Li created two parallel but distinct cuts: “Let’s Go Into the Dark,” in which three friends enter the mall during a blood-worm moon, and “End of Summer, 2026,” which explores everything that follows.

Showtimes: Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the screening beginning at 7:00 PM. The event is scheduled to run until 10:30 PM.

Tickets: Free entry, with a suggested contribution of $0–$10.
