Wild Flowers: Rock's Iconic Women
Step into a vibrant tribute to the women who shaped rock music's past, present, and future. *Wild Flowers: Rock's Iconic Women* is a new solo exhibition by Washington, DC–based artist Heidi Phelps, celebrating legendary musicians through a bold, feminist lens. Each screen-printed portrait pairs an iconic artist with a symbolic flower, creating an interplay of music history, mythology, and personal strength. The result is a powerful garden of sound and symbolism, rendered in lush, hand-printed color. The exhibition is complemented by several special events: an opening reception where Heidi shares the stories and creative process behind the series, a moderated panel discussion on representation in the arts, and a live screen-printing session where guests can watch their own rock tee or limited-edition art print be printed on-site.
When: December 5–21, 2026; gallery hours are Thursdays and Fridays 12–4pm, weekends 12–4pm, and Monday through Wednesday by appointment.
