DC Improv Date Night
DC Improv Date Night turns the club’s main room into a couples-friendly comedy setting, with a deliberately varied lineup intended to give people something to laugh about together. The event offers both standard admission and an all-inclusive date-night package that combines comedy, a reserved table, drinks, food, dessert, and gratuity.

Jamal Russell: A Washington, D.C.-based comedian with six years of experience, Russell has performed at venues and festivals including the Ice House in Los Angeles, Caroline’s on Broadway, the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, the Motor City Comedy Festival, and the Boston Comedy Festival. He won Comedy Kumite XL in 2025 and Comedy Kumite 32 in winter 2022.
Sandi Benton: A Washington, D.C.-area comedian originally from Atlanta, Benton performs whimsical, high-pitched material covering subjects ranging from ponies to prison. She has appeared throughout the East Coast.
Bobbie Ray: Ray is a stand-up comedian whose observational material and relaxed, conversational delivery draw on real-life experiences and unusual perspectives. He has opened for Robert Kelly, Ian Fidance, Katie Boyle, and other touring headliners.
Chris White: White has been involved in the D.C. comedy scene for more than a decade as a comedian, producer, and host. His work includes Make Up Party game nights, Comedy Kumite tournaments, Pun DMV events, and DC Improv Date Night. His writing about U.S. presidents has appeared in McSweeney’s, and he has released the stand-up albums “I Take Requests” and “Forbidden Style.”
