Baby Blue Sound Collective (BBSC) returns to Blues Alley for a special fundraising performance benefiting Music Therapy at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. Founded in 2008, BBSC is an international musician-physician-led ensemble that performs and records for pediatric cardiac charities. The collective currently features 18 musicians from the United States, Australia, and Europe, including cardiologists, heart surgeons, intensive care specialists, nurses, and therapists—united by a love of music and a commitment to helping children with heart disease. Their musical repertoire is super-eclectic, spanning jazz, R&B, pop, rock, funk, blues, and many original compositions. The 2026 Blues Alley show will feature 5 vocalists and a full horn section, promising a high-energy performance with the heart of a mission-driven community. This evening celebrates music, medicine, friendship, and hope, all in support of a vital cause.
